Sylvie Peraud - almost square

Sylvie Peraud - almost square

Sylvie Peraud is a French artist known for her high quality workmanship and also for her amazing imitative techniques.  From denim, fiber and tweed to wood, stone and ceramics, she pushes clay to new heights.

Sylvie loves giving her work an organic look. She finds inspiration everywhere around her, when walking through an autumn forest, when discovering other art mediums, when reading a book. What she loves best is making faux and the closer she gets to the real material, the happier she is.

Making jewelry has been part of Sylvie’s hobbies since childhood. Beads when she was young and melted recycled plastics later until she started working with polymer clay in 2005. At that time she made the commitment to her art and dedicated her efforts to making it her livelihood.

Sylvie Teaches in France and abroad.

In 2009, she co-founded “Lezart’Gil” a French association for polymer clay enthusiasts and organizes big clay events and workshops in France.

We felt very honoured to have Sylvie Peraud as our teacher for this masterclass. What she will teach is brand new and has never been taught so far.
